We got her spayed last Tuesday, we got her back the next day and now she has to wear that big ol' plastic collar for another 8 days till her follow-up appointment on the 5th. But later on today, Jose noticed white stuff coming out of her eyes. Were thinking since she hasn't been able to clean herself, that she developed little "eye boogies" and just accumulated. Jose washed her face. And later on in the day, I noticed again the white stuff and there's redness in and around her eyes. I think she may have developed an eye infection. We're taking her to the doctor tomorrow. Wish us luck.
My music class ended last Thursday and I'm pretty sure I got an 'A' in the class. Grades were supposed to be in today but nothing yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
Not much to report on...Jose has the next 4 days off after working 4 days in a row....so yay
Ok, have a good Monday night everyone!!

WHAT A GREAT WORKOUT!
I got my new step aerobics dvd in the mail today and right away I popped it in. I couldn't wait to use it with my new stepper that I got on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. I'm basically a beginner because the last time I was in a step aerobics class was at school in Fall '06. I remembered what a great workout I would always get. And WOW, did I ever get a workout today! It felt great except for the wrong step that I took on my left foot and rolled on my ankle. But I was fine a few seconds after that. I feel good now Hopefully, this will make me lose the much needed weight. I don't want to start the new school semester as a fatty...lol But ya, this is sooooo much better than the boring treadmill. It doesn't matter what good, "workout" songs you have in your ipod, it gets old. My feet start hurting and I find myself constantly looking at the time to see when the hell will be over. And I don't even get that sweaty, just glowy...lol I just basically feel like I didn't get that great of a workout with the treadmill.
I got an 'A' in my history test last night. Very interesting class, I must say. It talks about how women really contributed so much in US history but at the same time went through so much hell from the stupid men. They really didn't get enough credit for the work they've done. My "favorite" line in the book was how there were rules of how women should behave and one of them was: "Because women are the weaker sex, they should be responsible for fending off men's aggressive sexual advances." Ok, isn't that sorta contradicting? If women are the weaker sex, why should the responsibility be on THEM? Supposedly, we can't think for ourselves, right? It's just too funny.
Ok, I'm off to eat something. Have a great Saturday!!

STILL ALIVE.....
Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop a quick note before I get ready for class this morning. I've been doing pretty good. I recuperated from the cold that Jose passed on to me. So that's good.
My music class will be over next week, so yay! So now I get to concentrate on my Women of US History class till August 10th. And that's it....NO MORE GE CLASSES FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! I register for my fall classes at CSUF on Monday. I really hope I get all the classes I want. Since they are all upper-division, it shouldn't be too bad. I'd be more worried if I had to get GE classes.
Let see, what else. Minnie has been really whiney lately in the middle of the night (when Jose is working). I used to be able to put her in her cage (it's like a playpen cage for pets) and I would go and sleep in the room. Out of nowhere, after hours of silence, she'll start barking like crazy. I have to immediately tend to her since I don't want her waking the neighbors. I don't know what it is....but it's frustrating. Last night, I had to sleep out here in the futon so she can know that I'm right next to her. But now Jose is home for 2 days and I won't need to worry about that.
Ok, my alarm just went off and I guess I have to start getting ready. We have a test today *sigh*. But at least that means that we will be able to go home right after. Everybody, have a great Thursday!!

SICK AS A DOG
Yup, Jose is now better but now I have it. A lot of coughing with a hurting chest and some congestion. But the coughing is the worst part. Jose just went out to get me some medicine. Uggh, and to think I have to read a chapter because I have a test tomorrow. Great. I hope you are all having a better Sunday that I am....I'll talk to you soon!!

BUSY, BUSY....
I started my History of Rock Music class 2 weeks ago. It's Monday-Thursday from 10:40 am-1:10 pm (but he always lets us out around 12:15). I like it a lot but I hate the people in the class that I got stuck with. It's a big class.....60+ students. And they are mostly of kids that act like they're still in high school.... We basically watch a video everyday and we're right now studying the music of the 60's (where I personally think when the best music was made). And you just hear the giggling of the kids when they show the style of back then. It's very distracting and annoying. The teacher is a really nice guy but too nice. He doesn't put a stop to it. Luckily, I'm on the side of the classroom where most of the students are pretty serious.
I have started to work out and eat less calories. Cut out all sodas, just water. And you know what? It's already working. I've lost a few pounds already If I can start CSUF 15 lbs lighter by August, I'll be a happy camper. I also ordered some step aerobics steppers(with 2 adjustable risers for each side) from Ebay. I got them for $25 and they easily range from $80-100. They're the same ones that we used in my Step Aerobics class a couple of years ago. Let me tell you, it was one of hella of a workout. I used to leave there feeling pumped and like I accomplished something. I'll need to order a workout dvd for that. I can't wait till I receive them.
Lets see, what else. Oh ya, I don't know if I mentioned that Minnie is in heat again. She started on the 19th June (a couple of days before her birthday). Poor thing. It only came 4 1/2 months later (they say the average is 6 months, but each dog varies). This time it's a lot easier to handle because the diaper we put on her fits so perfectly now. She may have gained weight and fills it out so much better. Last time, her diaper kept falling and it was just a mess all around. We are definitley getting her fixed after she's done. I just been procrastinating on getting it done because I don't want to see her in all that pain, all helpless with her little head collar
Jose is sick, he has a cold. He's constantly sneezing. So I don't know what we'll do tomorrow for the 4th (if anything). We got invited to 2 bbqs, so we'll see.
Ok, everybody, have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!!!
