THIS WEEK WENT BY FAST....

Ok, so I thought the chatboxes on Johanna's and Amy's sites was a good idea, so I decided to be a copycat and put it on mines too I've had one on my main site for years, never thought about putting on my blog though

I think I bombed my Reseach Methods test today Buuuttt, I got an 'A' on my Child Psychology test....woohoo!! I'm more than halfway done with this semester....thank goodness!!

Jose normally works like 3 days (12 hours day) + 2-3 hours of OT and then is off for a few days. I guess they decided to be butts at his work and he's on for 5 days straight. That is going to kill him. Geesh....

Ok, I guess that's it for now.....have a great evening!!

Update @ 8:55 pm: I just got a phone call from Jose and he says that he's in the perimeters of a bomb threat they received today. So needless to say, he will be home later. Please pray for him and the rest of the people there. What's scary is that Downtown L.A is one of the main places for a terrorist attacks threats.

AND IT'S OVER.....*SIGH*

My Mom and Minnie Cuddling! Yes, Spring Break is officially over. It sucks. But I had a great time with my mom. My Mom Talking to my Sister, with Minnie...lol! She came on Tuesday and left on Friday. The last time Minnie seen her was when she was 4 months in October. Now she's 9 months. She loved my mom then. We weren't sure if Minnie would remember her or not. But when my mom walked in through the door, my mom just had to say 1 word and Minnie went crazy. It was so cute!! And she stuck by mom since. Here they are napping together... My mom brought her 2 fleece blankets that look like actual baby blankets and Minnie loves them!

Anyways, needless to say, I didn't get much studying done. But I did do all of my homework. Now I'm stuck with all this reading for Child Psych test on Tuesday. I'm seriously tired of reading.....

YAY FOR SPRING BREAK!!

I turned in my research paper today and I was sooooo happy to be done with it! I think it turned about pretty good too! And now I'm ready for Spring Break!!!!! Yay!!! My mom is coming to visit next week so I'm really excited about that.

The only bad thing is that I have 4 tests all spread out throughout the first week back + 3 homeworks due too..... So that means I have to study while on break. But whatever. I'm glad school is over for now.....woohoo!!

PROCRASTINATED LONG ENOUGH

I have a research paper due for my Research Methods class on Thursday. I have started working on it today.... I'm not too worried about it because 1) I don't have my Biology class tomorrow cuz my teacher went on a trip, so I have all day to work on it and also the rest of today and 2) I can pull a paper out of bum the night before and still get an 'A' on it. I have pretty decent writing skills (tooting my own horn there). I got everything I need for the paper, just need to type it out and put it in the right APA style format.

And yet, I'm on here blogging....nice. Again, no worries. I'll leave you with a funny video that had me laughing sooo hard last night.... It's not the fact that this poor model falls, but the WAY she falls the second time and with the newscasters not being able to stop laughing.....hilarious!

DEEPLY DISTURBED

There's a video going around the internet where a Marine is shown throwing a puppy off a cliff. The puppy is heard yelping as he's going down. The Marines are investigating to see if this a hoax or not (being that the puppy's yelps are heard very clear and don't diminish as he goes down the cliff or if the puppy could have already been dead and that's why he's limp when they hold it by the nape of the neck.....but all dogs go limp when you hold them like that). But if it turns out that it's legit, the Marine is going to face strict disciplinary actions. When I saw that, I got a lump in my throat that I couldn't shake off. I grabbed Minnie and gave her an extra tight hug. I don't understand people that can do this to a defensive little animal and have such disregard for life. I just don't get it.......

I'll stop writing now, I'm too upset....

QUIET SUNDAY

The puppy finally went to sleep and it's nice and quiet here. Jose's at work and all I hear is the tv. I swear, the moment I open the crate in the morning, Minnie literally dashes out of it and is bouncing off the walls. It's exhausting. So she must have tired herself out.....

There's not much going on. We got our tax refund a few weeks ago and we paid off 4 credit cards. Yay!!!! Something about paying off credit cards completely like that, feels so nice!! We also opened up a saving account, so that's a nice little cushion we have too.

My mom is coming during Spring break (the week of the 17th). So it will be nice to have her here. She'll be here till that Friday. Her flight is already booked and she's pretty much all set.

That's all for now. I'm off to study for my Speech class. Have a great Sunday!!!

MINNIE THE MODEL!

Minnie the Model We got her this adorable coat and look at her modeling it away!! We just had to share, so just click on it. We got really lucky that she doesn't mind wearing clothes. I've heard of some dogs that just HATE it. Awww. But anyways, our puppy is literally a ham. Right now, though, she is completely going crazy with her squeaky Bobo (that long hot-dog looking shaped toy that Petsmart sells). And she's literally standing up against my back and just squeeking the toy away in MY EAR.....aaahhhhh!!! She can do this anywhere in the apartment, but noooooo. She has to literally be on top of me! I can't believe she's 8 months old, though. Awwwwww. I remember when she was 8 weeks old, when we brought her home from LAX airport.

Anyways, Happy March to all of you! I hope this new month treats all of you well
